Disappointing
Room was right opposite elevators didn't sleep all night. First room key didn't work back to reception no apologies less than friendly reception staff. Very dated decor, no plug in bathroom and had difficulty with operating the shower/bath water and the beside lights. Not worth the money.

excellent stay
Excellent stay. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful on all fronts. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. The Intercon Club was excellent with service and food.

I stayed at Intercontinental Manila Hotel on...
I stayed at Intercontinental Manila Hotel on March 23-25, 2010... Unfortunately I had a very bad expirience.. I arrived around 1.00a.m. and when I tried to check in the employee there told me that my reservation was for one night, one bed room. I said to him that I have booked one room with two beds for two nights. He insisted that I was wrong and he will make me the favor to put an extra bed. I showed to him a print of my confirmation from Asia Rooms.com and he urged me to call my agent. Finally after an hour of negotiations he gave me one room with two beds but only for one night!!!At 3.00a.m. I have to call AsiaRooms.com so that to send again my reservation to the Hotel and to arrange to stay for one more night!I felt so humiliated from their attitude...

We stayed at this hotel three times...
We stayed at this hotel three times in a three week period. We paid for a club room but on two occasions, the room was not presented right, i.e. shampoo, towels or complementary items were not present. the club lounge was also disappointing and unlike others we have statyed at, do not allow children in during the evening - if i had known this, i may have altered hotels. the rooms were not always cleaned before we returned after a day's sightseeing. I do have to say though that when we complained, things were put right almost immediatly and the staff were very appologetic, it's just i would have expected things to be right first time in a hotel such as this. I would not totally dismiss staying here again - the location is excellent - however, if our stays are typical, a little more care and attention would improve the average stay greatly

great location, clean room and very friendly...
great location, clean room and very friendly staff! however the highlight of the stay was the breakfast. they have so many different kinds of food: western, chinese, japanese, fresh fruits, even a few different kind of cheese! highly recommended.

Had a nice stay and will be...
Had a nice stay and will be there again in 2 weeks. Little bit overpriced but like everything in Manila... Don't compare with Tawainese, Indonesian or Thai standards for a 5 stars, compare to the European or American standards instead and you'll get the picture.

Great staff and restaurants although the breakfeast...
Great staff and restaurants although the breakfeast fare could be a bit updated the mueslix was bad. For Fathers Day my kids and I enjoyed a wonderful set menu and was highly impressed by the attentive waitstaff and the quality of the food.

The hotel and the rooms are very...
The hotel and the rooms are very nice. The bath rooms are a little outdated. The service could be a little better i.e. it took very long for or lougage to be delivered to the room. The travel agency is slow. The people at the front desk are however very nice and accomodating and the room size was very good especially because we had two children with us (executive room).
