Bathroom
We stayed at the Furama late September after booking through Asiarooms. We were upgraded to an executive suite. Whilst this type of room was "nice" the refurbishment had been compromised by having the hand basin in the room, not in the bathroom!!! Lighting was very poor for the mirror, also located in the room above the hand basin. Additionally, this was an "internal" room that overlooked the lobby of the hotel, so you couldnt tell if it was day or night. The room designer needs to re-think about the layout of the bathroom. This detracted from the overall quality of the executive room. Please be carefull of the internal room layout if booking at Furama. We would stay there again but would insist on a different room catagory.

Good hotel
we got a good w/e deal in the Furama which included breakfast and an upgrade. we had just moved from the new V hotel which was OK, but the rooms there were very small compared to the Furama. We had a nice view of the city, and the pool is adequate but not very stylish. we dealt with Lee (?) in reception each day and he was very pleasant and helpful. the location is good too being beside Chinatown, close to Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. i would certainly stay there again.

Hotel was let-down
I did not have hot water in my room for 1 whole night. I wanted to bathe, but heater was not on, calling reception didn't help because they simply told you they couldn't do anything about it and you had to wait. Only in the morning did they send me a technician and i still needed to wait for the heater to 'warm up.' Other a decent hotel but i cannot believe a hotel doesn't have hot water running from it tap.

Hotel was in a good location for China town and other areas easily accessible but room had no window!! Considering they had the full cost of the room for over six months we would have expected at least a window in the room.

The room and hotel location was perfect easy to reach and to go everywhere we want, just the entrance door it was too narrow and when we walked into the room we must go into bathroom first. At first time we were surprised.. open the room door and we arrived in bathroom?! but the rest was awesome!

The hotel charged $25/day for internet in...
The hotel charged $25/day for internet in the room. I expected free internet which is what I normally get in all hotels worldwide. Even in cheap motels. I had no choice so I paid. But this was not the end. During the day the internet was disconnected and a message advised I reached the capaity limit of bytes allowed. I had to pay additional $25 to continue service. I do not like this attitude and I'll try not go back there.
