Excellent Hotel
It is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff ever willing to lend a helping hand. Its have a very colonial facade and make you feel that you are in Britain. However, the drawback is the parking system. It is not properly describe and told to the customer on how to exit.

Generally very good but some noise from adjoining rooms, coughing, plug rattling etc at unsocial hours. Better with separate shower rather than shower in the bath. Breakfast good and Thai Restaurant good if a little pricey.

My friend and I were impressed with the check in staff - efficient and professional as were the porters and doormen. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and looked out over the pool area which is lovely. Decor in the room very tasteful. Location of the hotel is excellent - walking distance to Orchard Road and everything one would need in Singapore. The only thing I didn't like was serving area to the coffee shop which is located right by the short walk to the elevators to the rooms. This area was a little messy however with the deal through Asiarooms it was definitely value for money and we had a very pleasant stay.

Goodwood Park Hotel
We used this Hotel for a short stopover while travelling to Australia. The rooms were clean spacious and very pleasant. Two pools , surrounded by lush greenery were an oasis away from the hussle and bussle of city life. Location very close to the busy shopping area of Orchard Road, but a short taxi ride from most tourist destinations, also a short walk to the Singapore Airlines hop on hop off bus which is free if travelling on Singapore airlines or otherwise S$6. Can recommend the Afternoon Tea!!

Excellent find for a cost conscious visitors who know the value of their money. A minimal increase in accommodation budget is considered well spent here. If you don't understand what I mean, please spend a night or two at some ordinary hotels around Orchard road @ SGD 130-150 a night. Then you'll probably see what I mean.
