Mixed Impression
Stayed here as the usual places on Orchard Rd were fully booked because of the air show. The location is good for tourists, as its an easy walk to Clarke Quay and China Town, but its not convenient for the MRT if going further. Room itself is clean and typical mid range hotel. But it was at the side of the hotel and had views over the cooling equipment... which wasn't so bad as the windows were so dirty you could hardly see anything.
The hallway smelled damp, but the room was fine.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, quality of the breakfast and the restaurant is good, but they could do a better job of explaining at check-in which tower the booked room is in, as we had a wasted trip up to the floor in the wrong tower.
Overall its OK, and if everywhere else was booked I would stay there again, but the competition in Singapore is tough, and there's better for the money.

The only issue I have with Furama is the accessibility. Though there's a free shuttle to Orchard, most of the time we took the taxi. Other than that, I like the hotel.

This is the second time I stayed here, We arrived on an early flight and were able to check into our room earlier than the allocated 1400hrs, we did have a problem with the hot water and the toilet not flushing properly,Rang reception and they sent someone straight up to check the problem.Overnight the water didn't heat up at all and it was just a warm shower, told them again at reception about the problem, so they allocated us another room while we were out for the day,they moved our luggage as well, when we got back they had upgraded us to an executive suite which was great, considering I was expecting the same type of room.

Generally Furama group offers good value for money. This time probably I was not so lucky, however the duty managers made it up with their good service.
We checked into a superior room, which had literally broken doors and hair on the bed cover; after making a strong complaint, we were upgraded to a deluxe room which was lot better. We had to call few times to get our rooms cleaned (since no one cleaned the rooms even after 2PM on any given day). On the final day of our stay the hotel ran out of hot water and they could not fix it for 24 hours.
We were compensated for that but it was still disappointing...might be it was due the holiday period, they could not get their act together.
However we still left similing due to the polite service offerred by their duty and front office managers.

Good Value
I booked an executive room. The rate included breakfast and internet, so all in all is quite good value for money. Hotel is 5 min walk to Robinson Quay restaurants

hotel was very good the price we got upgraded to 19th floor with floor to ceiling.window.not close to mrt about 2 kms but taxis in singapore are excellent and cheap half hour walk to city centre or china town would definately recommend it nice pool also.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Furama Riverfront, our room on the 19th floor was very
comfortable, and the ability to use the executive lounge was a nice added feature. Overall the
customer service from the staff of the hotel was excellent. We have stayed at this Hotel 3 times
before and enjoyed it each time.
