I enjoy staying in this hotel except...
I enjoy staying in this hotel except that it is not easy to find if I go there alone. Also, would appreciate a pick-up from Changi Airport as this hotel seems to be very popular with businessman and senior citizens on vacation. Nevetheless, I will stay in this hotel again.

I stayed at this hotel after I was stranded in Thailand during the airport takeover and awaiting a flight back to the USA. Outstanding buffet breakfast and right across the street from orchard towers if your a single traveler this is your neighborhood. About a 25 sing dollar cab ride to the airport and thats with the midnight surcharge. Many restaurants in the area along with the shopping along orchard road.

Room was a very nice size, although the carpet was "tired" and the furnishings were from a generation or two prior to being current in style.
The bathroom was excellent in size and facilities.
The breakfast buffet was very good, although getting coffee/tea service after being seated was very challenging and required much waiting.
The location of the Orchard Hotel is outstanding and very convenient to shopping and the MRT system.

The hotel upgraded us to the club...
The hotel upgraded us to the club deluxe room without extra charge upon our arrival. The room is spacious enough with an extra bed for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The buffet breakfast was good but always run out of glasses for juice. The swimming pool is equiped with a slide which my children love it. The location of the hotel is great with shopping centres neardby within walking distance. Overall the hotel is good and we will stay here again when we come to Singapore.

Hotel room and facilities was great.... but the service is should be better at this prices range.
It takes a while to check-in and takes even longer to check out.
I may stay again there but wont expect such a welcoming hospitality services as all the staff seem too busy doing other things.

We stayed 2 nights at the Orchard...
We stayed 2 nights at the Orchard Hotel Singapore. Finding the hotel adequate for our short stay. Clean & functional but small. Not a hotel for a special occassion but just somewhere to bunk down.
A couple of things we'd like to note about the hotel are,
1. The front desk staff aren't that welcoming, purely a transaction based exchange without nicety.
2. Twin room was rather compact, not much room for a couple of suitcases.
3. Experienced a leaking hand basin drain-pipe that was repaired quickly upon reporting it.
4. Room card required to operate elevator. Card failed once and a new card was issued to solve the problem.
