My stay in the Orchard Hotel - SG
I had a very pleasant stay in the Orchard Hotel. It is on the Orchard Rd where Hilton and the other similar hotels are located. It is also close to the famous Orchard towers.
I found the room a little small but pleasant, clean and all the routine matters taken care at the time of the check in. They handed me a password for the Wi-Fi without having to ask for it later.
The room had all the amenities, very clean and very tidy.
The pricing is probably reflective of the quality of the room.

Happy....... in the end .
Check in was very long with a wait of 20 minutes to get checked in. Looked like an airline crew had just turned up at the hotel at the same time and instead of a group arrangement for them they too stood in line with the rest of us.
After finally getting my room key, i proceeded up to the room, insert the key, enter and find perple already in the room that had been allocated to me. As you would expect, they were shocked and angry at my uninvited entry to their room. So......back down to the lobby and another 20 wait in line and an additional 5 minutes trying to figure out what happened! All through this the staff were very helpfull and friendly while trying to sort this out.
Finally another room key was allocated to me and to my supprise they had up graded me to a suit on the 16th floor which was very nice.
The staff were efficient and graceful under presure. A job well done.
I would return to this Hotel despite the problems encounted during the first 40 minutes of my stepping through the door.

what a fabulous hotel & staff, when i checked in i upgraded my room to an executive lounge for an extra $60sgd a night and for that i got free breakfast, free internet, free food all day in the vip lounge & free drink from 6pm-8pm every night, also free laundry. the staff were very helpful and on my last night at the hotel i was offered a 4pm check out which i thought was superb. the room was on the small side but it was immaculate, was very well decorated, had a fantastic bathroom and i couldnt ask for more.

Not a bad hotel for orchard road....
Not a bad hotel for orchard road. Its closer to the Tanglin road end it is next to the dodgy Orchard Towers. But it is a decently maintained hotel. The exceptional thing about the hotel were the staff. I had numerous requests and they were all handled very well. The call centre is also most useful. The food was not very good, especially room service. I would stay here again if I got a good deal. Like everywhere in Singapore the room rates were high. But comparatively it was good value for money.

Very impressive entrance, good service and amazing breakfast. Our breakfast was included which made our room rate great value. Full breakfast was $29.00 p/h.
Spacious room, very clean. Polite and good service.
Top location being in Orchard Street.
