great location, quite rooms
The location was really suberb, right by the river. All central areas are easy to access and in walking distance. Wifi for 24h costs about 5Dollar and works fine, the rooms have LAN connection, Wifi signal is a bit low there. I haven't tried eating lunch or dinner there but the breakfast was exactly the same for 3 consecutive days. The rooms are small but ok. But for a family surely too small. All together I guess its an ok place for the price and compared to other hotels that are more expensive and look quite shabby. I had a good time in this place...

worth your money
it was an overall enjoyable place esp the room that we had, with tall glass window overlooking the river and buildings aglow at night. it has a quiet ambience good for old folks like us. only downside is you dont get much smiles from employees, apart from the cleaning lady we met, who greeted us when we would meet outside our room. I would recommend to other friends this hotel.

a rat hole in a great location
location of the hotel is fantastic but the rooms are like rat holes, think 10 times before booking here!!! have never seen a smaller bathroom or room in my life!! bathrooms are untidy - and the rooms moreover looks like best suited for shady activities!!!

This hotel is located near liang court and clarke quay,but what disappoint me the most is the condition of the room is like an old standard room and not maintained too well,also the poor lighting in the entrance and receptionist desk give me the image of a hotel for short hours,there's no concierge too in this hotel,so we have to be on our own for all the things that we need to carry,the only things in my last day of staying after the 5th days of my stay is that i just found out that this hotel is just the opposite of Robertson walk which is a very nice place to hang out with,many restaurants and it's a good place to take photos in this old town like area.But frankly speaking i wouldn't recommend my friends to stay there and wouldn't come back there again for my stay

good value hotel
easy to get to MRT train station. Good area for night life and places to eat. walking distance to the major sights along the river. though in a busy part of Singapore there was no noise level to disturb when sleeping. Good views along the river. Room was very comfortable. Shower room was a bit small and a large person would struggle. Marks out of 10 would be 7 or 8.

Good location
The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. The shower needed a good scrub as there was a lot of mould in it. Having said that, the hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay there again

room size certainly on the tight side, however given the amount of time we spent in the room this was not a problem. Breakfast was plain but more than enough options to choose from. Couldn't ask for better location, close to Clarke and Boat Quay's, public transport and numerous other restaurants. thoroughly enjoyed our stay
