The hotel is quite old and the room conditon is average. The furnishings are quite old with wardrobe back panel broken off. Bathroom not enclose only with open concept spa and jacuzzi bathtub. Not good for family stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Friendly people, very helpfull! We asked for one day extra and they made it possible. During the day some workshop was going on but it was not to noisy. I was fond of the fastfood internet in the hotel. We used the computer in the room and the WiFi for my iPad: great!

It's a nice hotel hidden away on a side street. Just make sure you have the hotel phone number because my taxi driver had no idea how to get there. At one point he even got out of his taxi to look for the hotel. The air conditioning was non existent though. I had no idea how to operate what looked like the air conditioner so it got quite hot at night.

Very comfortable hide-away near heart of downtown Seoul. Clean, affordable, friendly multi-lingual front desk help. Bed was hard, like sleeping on a box spring, but still slept well. Shower, toilet, and sink well separated so no bathroom crowding. Everything in the room worked once we were given the direction on how to use the remote; A/C, lights, TV. Hot H20 for wonderful Maxim instant coffee in room and always a pot of brewed coffee in the lobby. Walking distance to Yongsan Army Post and Korean War Memorial Museum(free). Near Women's University so restaurants and small shops in the area are populated with younger crowd, but not rowdy or destructive. Eating and drinking just one block away toward Seoul Station. Paris Baguette on the way to subway stop.
Downside: A little hard to find. No sign visible from the busy street outfront and hotel is behind another hotel and an office building. Only one stop from Seoul Station on the #1 Blue Line @ Namyeong. You can see the hotel from the platform and its about a 2 minute walk from there. If using a taxi, be sure to have the phone number so driver can call to get directions.
I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others. If you are looking for a central location to tour, a shower, good night's sleep and a feel for Korean style lodging, this will work quite well. If you want a big room with comfortable furniture, food and bar in house and spectacular views, look elsewhere.

The hotel is fine, but it's a love hotel. So the rooms are clean, spacious, the only thing about the room that's bugging is the insufficient lighting but people generally don't go there to leave the light on that much.
Love hotel meaning that the room next to yours may get noisy between, say 6 and 8pm just after office hours. That was the case during my stay. However, if you're aware of that and fine with it, the place is ok. I stayed there for 4 nights and it never got "noisy" after 10pm.
Location is just one stop south of Seoul station, and a 3 minute walk from the station, so that's convenient, however it's on a backstreet, so don't plan on finding it unless you have a really really detailed map, or get external help.
There's plenty of cheap places to eat in the area, both small korean restaurants, as well as a Lotteria burger place.

My stay was very enjoyable it is in a convient loction for the shopping nightlife and resturants while still being in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. It is locted near both the Itaewon and Soeul Train station. I will definately be staying their again.

The moment I stepped in the room, I was very pleased..bcos the decor is stylish. Thru out the 8days stay was a pleasant and comfortable. Rgds the room size was abit cramped but overall the arrangment was still accpetable.. I will put up my two thumbs for the cleanliness of the room. The only downturn was that, the staff always put one bath towel in our room, clearly knowing that its two person staying there.. So we have to remind them every night to give us an extra bath towel.. I will sure go back Elleinn again for my next visit in Seoul...

Lovely cosy hotel, friendly staff, although not much English spoken, difficult to get directions, but one young lady spoke excellent English, so had to wait around sometimes until she was there. Really enjoyed our stopover. Very close to some typical Korean restaurants and the railway, buses and found the tourist tour bus stop was not very far. Really enjoyed being there, would love to go there again.

Very convenient for Namyeong station (leave the station and turn right, take the first lane on your right and the hotel is 300m down this lane - past the Kaya hotel.) Namyeong staion is convenient for downtown - 1 stop from Seoul Station on line 1. Sookmyeung Womens University station on line 4 is also less then 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Taxi drivers don't know the hotel
Many Korean restaurants nearby and several western ones (Although a chain restaurant "Mr Pizza" sells good western style pizzas)The hotel serves breakfast, but we never got up in time to try it - there are a number of coffe shops nearby that do set western breakfasts - and of course dozens of Korean joints.
If you plan to visit the DMZ with the USO outfit this is a fine choice - the US army base where you have to report at 7.00 a.m. is next door.
If all you want is a good room in a convenient location, without all the extras of a big hotel this is a great choice!
