Good location, friendly service, value for money
The hotel is located in the heart of Wufenpu, a shopping area with shops selling wholesale garments, shoes, bags, belts, etc but they also retail. Prices of garments are as low as NTD100 each, some even NTD150 for 2 pieces. You can find many interesting items here, esp the children's clothing and ladies' garments. The hotel is very near the Housanpi MRT station, just about 10 mins walk. Downstairs, there is a convenience shop and along the same row, many eateries with inexpensive food. The hotel staff are few, only 2 at the reception each time and another 2 ladies at the restaurant where breakfast is served. Breakfast is simple, but tasty, esp the porridge with the various condiments. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant lady is very friendly and pleasant. All the hotel staff have very positive attitude, including the cleaning lady. This hotel is also near the Rao Her night market, just 10 mins walk. Taxis are easy to come by, just wait downstairs by the road side. We traveled everywhere by MRT as the road maps and MRT maps are so easy to follow. Cost of traveling, food and shopping are low. You can go anywhere by MRT. The hotel room is not very big but enough to accommodate 2 persons. Rooms are provided with flat screen TV, free beverage, mineral water and even canned drinks. Wi-fi is free and available in the rooms. There is also a computer in the restaurant which has free internet. Only complaint is that the reception is on level 2 and the lift is very small - can only fit in 2 persons with luggage each trip. Key to the room is not the card swipe type but the old type which you have to insert into the slot to turn on the power. Every time you leave the room, you have to leave the key at the reception, which is on level 2 and it is very inconvenient because you have to first stop at level 2, then go to level 1. Otherwise, the hotel is strongly recommended for people who want a good location, friendly service, clean rooms and value for money.
