The place is quite old and run down. I actually used it as my staging hotel for my visit to Taiwan. In total, I stayed in 3 different rooms. While travelling around northern Taiwan, I left my luggages at Relite hotel and took a one day back pack. Coming back to the room, the toilets are especially bad. The ceiling is so low that I have actually hit it with my hand a couple of times while showering. The doors in the first room was a sliding door and my kids were unable to close it. The second was ok and the 3rd had a problem with the latch. The toilet door opens up when someone open the front door! (must be due to the changes in pressure in the room. Worst of all the air conditioning kept on going out so I get little sleep when that happens and that does not make a very good thing especially when you are going to visit a zillion places the next day.
PS The staff was pretty polite and helpful.
