Great hotel!!
We stayed for 2 days at the Dandy. Could not be happier. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are very well appointed with lots of extras, everything is immaculately clean. Breakfast was very good. When the new subway line is compete, the location will be even better, as there is going to be a station almost next door (currently it is about a 20 minute walk to the nearest station: The only drawback, if one even can call it that). We would highly recommend the Dandy Daan.

Room was small
Very clean and modern room.
location was a bit far from the mrts. we tried walking but realised it was better to take buses because teh distance was quite long. but it was pretty near to yongkang street so that's a plus.
there's free internet terminal on ground floor.
main grouse was the smallish size and completely glazed window so it felt very claustrophobic. oh, and we only had 1 key card so it was a bit inconvenient when one person needed to run downstairs while the other was in the toilet.
cant comment whether it was good value for money because had not tried other taipei hotels & minxus before.

A good experience
The hotel is clean and the staffs is friendly. Breakfast is also good. Hotel location is a little far from the city, but good thing is there is a 7 Eleven and Subway nearby.

Good for the Price
The only disappointment is that I get a no-window room. The location is quite strategic, the staffs of reception are friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were very pleased and we will stay there again. Room was bit small but pretty clean and most of all, hotel employees were very helpful, friendly, and made us feel at home. Breakfast was also very good !!!

I Love the room!
The Room was so nice and clean! The bed is super comfy that we almost miss our breakfast everyday... Overall the service was good. Location wise I will say a little inconvenient. Have to take a bus to the Mrt station. ( is around 4 stops 5 mins?) A bonus will be the 24hr 7-11 just beside the hotel.. Suitable for groups of friend, singles and couple. Thumbs up for the quality of room!!

The room size at Dandy Daan is...
The room size at Dandy Daan is decent, enough for 2 travellers with 2 oversized luggages and still have room to move. Deco throughout the hotel is simple yet stylish. Breakfast is awesome considering the price that we are paying. Only drawback about this hotel is that is it not located very close to the train station.
