Taipei Stopover
This relatively new hotel is very convenient for the airport (less than 5 minutes by car/taxi/bus) and with regular shuttle buses well organised for the business traveller. Food is however average and geared very much to Taiwanese customers rather than international. Rooms are well furnished and have adequate space allocated for the businessman. Internet is free but slow. There is some noise from aircraft take-offs and landings but not loud enough to be a problem. Hotel facilities including gym and pool look good but hardly used. This hotel is ideal for a one to two night stay for people on business. If you want to see Taipei stay closer to the city. It is not a hotel I would stay with children. Overall a good standard business class hotel.

Location is very near to Ximen Station...
Location is very near to Ximen Station and staff are friendly and helpful. Bathroom should install more hooks for hanging of clothing. Breakfast would be better if more varieties are available on different days. Checking in/out was quick and with least paperwork.

I stayed here only because I was...
I stayed here only because I was arriving in the afternoon, had to leave next morning, was at the end of a 2 month trip and didn't want to spend an hour each way getting a taxi into Taipei city and back. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. A lovely room. You could see planes landing and taking off... not only from the bedroom but also from the shower/big bath. And there was no noise. A very comfortable room. Very helpful staff. I guess the only things worth mentioning are that the bar was a bit minimalist and more like an IKEA showroom than a place to drink! Also you can't walk from the airport but have to get a (free) shuttle bus which takes maybe 5 minutes! So, yes I would recommend this hotel. But if you have more time and/or haven't been into Taipei before, I guess it makes more sense to get a hotel there! This hotel did everything I wanted it to do.

This was an awesome hotel...spotless rooms,quiet, gorgeous...
This was an awesome hotel...spotless rooms,quiet, gorgeous entry into the hotel, wonderful buffet available in restaurant, perfect location to stay before a flight ( only 5 min away from the airport) and they offer a great shuttle service to the airport as well. All in all, a wonderful experience!
