Restaurant and Bar
I was rather disappointed that the Sacz bar and restaurant at this hotel was closed and will remain closed until the last quarter of 2012. The lobby lounge whic was used as the bar was not a very spacious or comfortable area to enjoy a quiet drink or two.
I think that the hotel should inform customers at the time of booking that this facility is not available.

Great Location for Sukhumvit
This hotel is clean, safe and family friendly. It's location would also suit single people who want the night life around sukhumit as it is only a stones throw away from the action. The gym is one of the best I have seen in a hotel and the general faciities including the pool are more than adequate. We were impressed by the staff and would use the hotel again. I would recommend it to anyone else.

service
I am a thai lady who visit there by myself some time I feel like I got service from some of staffs there were not too friendly or looked at me like I am from NANA area. Maybe because of my skin color anyhow I am one of the customer who pay the same price as other I wish I should get the same service as other. It happened at the breakfast at 7th floor. But all the girls who there were very friendly but some of the guys who work there were not...

best hotel for the money
I have been going to Thailand for the past 15 years and have stayed in many hotels. This one beats them all in every aspect.

nice hotel as all said bellow...
nice hotel as all said bellow ,and will say above , but if i want find some critics , i would say that 2 lifs only are a little not enough for such a big hotel , if it's full ; the breakfast is a little rapidly boring if yu stay long time there , the rooms are not very well isolated from the noise outside if yu stay NEAR THE high-way , and the internet is not free for superior room , yu need pay 150 baht for 1 hour ; 390 baht one day , that's in fact not so expensive for such comfort ;; but anyway all the staff is so nice , and the bulding beautifull , the pool lovely but rapidely in the shadow , a good fitness room , this hotel is nearly a true 5 stars with a price really modest for the quality ; at last , yu need walk at least 10 minutes for reaching the skytrain NANA .

This was my second stay at The...
This was my second stay at The Majestic Grande in the last eight months and it was just as good as the first time I was there. The hotel staff are the friendliest and most courteous you could find. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant and relaxing stay in Bangkok.

Nice place with spacious rooms and attentive...
Nice place with spacious rooms and attentive service. Good breakfast buffet with adequate choice for Westerners and Asians alike. Location is a bit inside from Sukhumvit Road and at times it’s not easy to convince a cab driver to bring you there.

This is a terrific, clean, value for...
This is a terrific, clean, value for money hotel. The Grande Premier room booked is fine but too small for me and didn't have a walk in shower, so I upgraded and loved that package and room. The friendly staff have a terrific service mindset and are always on hand to help as best they can. It's cheaper than some great 5 star hotels nearby and enjoys a good location by Ploenchit near Bumrungrad hospital, Wirelss Road and the great shopping centres of Chidlom. The chef was very accommodating about my dietary needs which was very impressive though I tend to eat most meals at other restaurants and hotels nearby. Unless you go to a 5 star hotel in Thailand you will have some minor language problems with some staff but nothing that can't be overcome with patience and courtesy and reference to more experienced staff. I was told there was a communication problem between Asia Rooms/Turismo Asia (my first booking through them) and the hotel as they couldn't locate my reservation on check in, but that hasn't happened on my previous stays with the hotel. There was the usual trouble with mobile phone reception in my room unfortunately. Overall, for what they offer, they're hard to beat.
