My fiance and I stayed at the hotel for half a night as our plane landed in at 1am so we just needed a cheap room before going on to our other hotels, so I cant really say anything about the facilities as we checked out at 10am, but from what I saw it was pretty good. There was an internet kiosk and tour desk. The room is of decent size and clean. The bathroom was very dark and I didnt like it much. There was a mini bar and was resonably well priced. We stayed in the junior suite. Breakfast was ok, coffee or tea,eggs, toast, and ham which we thought that looked dodgy so we gave it to the cat who was sitting in the cafe. Which we thought was dodgy too! There is no lift there but the there is a nice man there who took our heavy suitcases up the stairs and wouldnt even let my fiance help. All in all I would recommend the Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn for a short stay like us, but there are nicer hotels like the Novotel Lotus which is 4 stars if your willing to spend $20 more.

Very clean, 20m away from main road and close to BTS Thong Lo station, make it perfect for any short stand by activities. I had deluxe room and it was furnished with TV, fridge, air-con and hot water. Everything what you need. Very satisfied

The Inn is located at the upper end of Soi 57 and is a short walk from the BTS Thong Lo station at Soi 57. You can cross over to Soi 57 via a cross street 100 m from the entrance. My stay was quiet and comfortable and the room rate included breakfast, which was very good but limited in choice. The sink drain was slow and the faucet was loose but these were minor concerns - this is a budget hotel. A very good deal for the money!

Stayed for 2 night, great value for $$$, peaceful as not noisy at night.
Breakfast still ok(toast, ham n egg) but hope can add choice of bee hoon soup next time. 10 mins walk to thong lo BTS.
Don't leave any valuable in room as room will be clean daily even when lock (staff are honest, never lost anything during stay) ,made known to staffs if you don't want any staff(room attendant)to get into your room at all.
Will stay here again next visit.

This hotel is a perfect location for budget travelers who are very particular about cleanliness. I loved the king-size bed and the wall deco above the head board. It's also within a 5-minute walking distance to BTS Khong Lo - so convenient!
However, the bathroom is a bit too dark for my liking and the staff could use a little more smile.

Great location as it is just 5 minutes walk from Thong Lor skytrain. Booked 2 rooms and had a pleasant 3-night stay. Rooms are clean and of reasonable size. Both rooms have mini bar/fridge in rooms. However, water pressure in bathrooms is low.
However, there's no lift. Hence taking the luggage to the top floor may be quite taxing. Breakfast is ok.
Real value for money! Will definitely stay there again.

We checked into the sawasddee inn on the 3rd and had to check out on the 4th, losing a weeks money.
We booked a Junior Suite and it was a disgrace.
The bathroom was crawling with ants everywhere and the shower was dangerous. It had wires sticking out all over next to the shower head where the water comes out. When the maintenance man switched it on it trickled cold water only onto the wires.
We were moved to another room (but were told we would have to move back to the first room the next day) and it was the same and even more ant infested. We have stayed in many budget inns and backpacker hostels, but have never seen anything like this.
The inn only bears a passing resemblance to your description and the rooms and I would recommend a backpackers hostel, or a hotel such as the Atlanta over this.
We ended up checking into the Fortuna Hotel, and were so relieved to be out of the Sawasdee Inn.
If anyone is travelling to Bangkok for a few days, book into a place for 1 or 2 nights maximum to see if you like it first, especially if you are thinking of staying at this Inn.
