it's okay
Paid $38AUD for accommodation incl return transfer from the airport. Cheap as.
The staff were friendly. The room was big enough and even had the small private balcony. Aircon and sall TV box surprised me though for this price.
The mattress was like 2 out of 5 so if you'r looking for a better bed be advised.
The shower was dodgy. Toilet and the shower room are combined and the shower does not have it's box. So its like the same space. The pressure wasnt really good so it took a while for me to finish the shower. There was a lack of hot water as well.
Overall, for its money it's one of the good option for those staying one day/night in Bangkok.

I used this hotel because I arrived late to Bangkok and had a flight early the next day so all I wanted was a bed close to the airport. If that is all you want and don't mind it not being a high class hotel then it is fine.

Good Convenient Stop
I have stayed at The Grand Pinnacle a few times anad for a short Airport Stopover it is great. The pick up at the Airport is always efficient and the staff are always very friendly. The rooms ar fine for the purpose but rather lacking in a decent level of light!!!! Two rather dim spot lights in the ceiling and that is IT!!!
I am more than happy with this hotel whwn transitting through Savanabhuand will stay there again.

Stayed here with my son and wife...
Stayed here with my son and wife for 2 nights on 22.2.10. We were only meant to be here for a stopover, which is why we chose the location. After clearing customs, we were met by the hotel's driver. The hotel is clean and gives you value for money. The best thing about the hotel was the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend as a comfortable hotel for stopovers if you need to be close to the airport.

If you are forced to spend the...
If you are forced to spend the night near Suvarnabhumi airport, this isn't bad. Free pick up at the airport, and they drop you off there for your flight- it is about 10 minutes away by car. Nothing fancy or special. Breakfast extremely basic, but satisfactory. If you want to sleep in I don't recommend this place, as there are very loud chickens which begin crowing at dawn (aka 5 am), and it would be impossible to sleep through that. The location in downtown Lat Krabang is nice though because there are lots of really cheap Thai restuarants and outdoor bars very close by, and a Thai temple across the canal a little bit to the northwest of the hotel. I don't think there's a better option, for such a cheap price anyway, near the airport

For US$27 a night, it was a...
For US$27 a night, it was a great deal. 10 minutes from the airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free airport pickup and dropoff included. Rooms were about what you would expect for $27 a night. If you're just looking for a place to sleep for a night, then this is an adequate place.
