miss leading

iv'e just come back from this hotel.what can i say its totaly miss leading.the pictures on the net are nothing like were you stay.we got there and the quality of the rooms were a mess,we asked them that we didnt book this and they told us take it or leave it.we had no choice as i had kids and baggege and we travelled far.so they made me pay more money for a better room.its a complete scam.only go there if you want to get robbed.

Got hit with a 2,000 baht damage...

Got hit with a 2,000 baht damage deposit charge when i checked in that wasn't mentioned in AsiaRooms and look forward to it's return, subject to that i'd say this place is a great BU PLACE Respectful staff, they booked a taxi for me for a long distance trip for when i check out and the rate was reasonable. Very clean hotel, very helpful staff. Great views of the Bangkok city skyline. Internet / Wifi signal was also useful, charged at a rate of 100 bhat a day. There are internet cafes just outside for 10 bhat an hour if you don't have a laptop or just need it for quick use... Staff will also confirm directions locally with taxi drivers before you leave so if your not feeling confident let them sort it out.... Didn't eat at the cafe but was tempted, spoilt for choice regards food from the street sellers. The 24 hour kiosk next door was also very good value.

Gebuchte Kategorie "Room Superior". Bestes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Zimmer sind riesig und weitestgehend sauber und wer harte Betten mag, der schläft gut. Das Hotel verfügt über einen netten Außenpool im fünften Stock mit Fitnessraum, Tischtennis, Pool-Billard und Sauna. Lage ist Top, man ist in 10 Minuten in Pratunam (nicht zur Rush-Hour!) und zu Fuß in 15-20 im Fortune Town bzw. Underground-Bahn. Entfernung mit Taxi zum Airport ca. 30 Minuten. Waren nun schon zum vierten mal dort und werden immer wieder gehen!

Advantages: 1.Specious room 2.Very clean 3.Very friendly and helpful staff 4.Very good services, fulfill every single request like extra slipper, pillow 5.Air-cord works very well and very powerful water pressure 6.Value for it rental charged Disadvantages: 1.Location is a bit out; only can be excess by tuktuk or taxi. 2.8 out of 10 taxi driver doesn't know the place 3.Free shelter van only provide free service to the nearest MTR station till 6pm. 4.Nothing much to see around the area

From the moment we arrived they requested...

From the moment we arrived they requested more money then what asia rooms had quoted us. They asked for 40% deposit that they get to keep ontop of the price from asia rooms.We gave them first night upfront in cash and asked for a receipt. the next day we went to pay for the remainder in cash. they then went to say that the first night we paid for they couldnt remember us paying, and after showing our receipt they still tried to have us pay for all 6 nights as the 1000 baht we paid was to secure a room even tho we were the only ones in the whole hotel! We also booked a taxi at concierge to go to the hospital that urgently needed to arrive at a time we had for an apointment. the concierge told the taxi to take us to the airport which resulted in us missing the apointment and having to pay for a night in hospital which was 5 times the price of 1 night at BU Place. We then explained this problem to the manager to whom which resulted to say it wasnt his fault that no one spoke english in the hotel and mocked us for not speaked the language. We then moved hotels and asked them to write the directions in Thai for us, to which they gave the taxi driver the wrong directions on purpose to take us to the middle of no where. BU Place. by far the most dissapointing, embarassing hotel we have ever stayed at. Its not where is says it is, it is very far away from anything, whith no shopping. no food. and no restaurants. We also ordered food from the hotel asking for a chicken pad thai stating it to have no seafood in it, which then was presented to us a chicken and shrimp pad thai, potentially dangerous for anyone with food allergies.
