Good standard at excellent location
This is my third time staying at Ballys Silom. Very friendly staff, decent room and excellent location for those taking a break in Bangkok fornits night life. Clubs are just downstairs from hotel and one cannot be more central to Bangkok than this hotel. However, thr environment might not be suitable for families or those with small children. For singles and youngsters seeking fun this will be THE place in Bangkok.

Very satisfied with the quality of the room and bathroom. Not a problem for me but lack of windows in the room might bother some people.

For me this hotel is just about perfect - but if youre looking for a room with a view - not here.

Rate is slightly high, but location is great. No problem for taxi driver to find the hotel as silom is a famous street. Near bts and mrt, makes travel easy. Room is new and clean with free broadband. Breakfast is simple with very few choices but still fine as food taste decent nice. Will stay there again next visit.

Basically.i personally like this place very much becouse is easy to move from one place to another place.and the hotel staff are frinedly and helpfull.
But dont feel comfortable as too many store is just next to the hotel front door.

The overall experience was good. Front...
The overall experience was good. Front desk staffs were friendly. Location is superb, stonethrow to BTS station. The room is modern and clean; they even provide a dvd player and a big flat screen tv, but no hair dryer (!?). However there was a sewage smell on the 3rd floor corrider and in the room. Could hear the banging music from the disco next door at 2am. Try to get a room on higher floor (highest is 8th).

good location next to Metro and BTS Skytrain as well as Lumpini Park, but in redlight district (therefore not suitable for families); located in shopping area (street bazaars, shopping malls); friendly staff; daily room cleaning; free Internet access in lobby; medium-sized LCD-TV + DVD-player; no view (house wall); breakfast with moderate selection is included (four kind of fruits, jam, cereal, croissant, ham, eggs, rice/noodles with meat and/or vegetables, sausage, toast, coffee/tea, orange and redcurrant juice)
