Its a true budget hotel. If you want to have a place to stay overnight and cheap, this is the place - great location and cheap. I would stay again if I only use the room to sleep and there is some room discount offered. Its not ideal for relaxing and enjoying the hotel luxury because there is none.

Great service, great value.
This was our fourth stay at Downtown Inn over the last five years. While the rooms may be a little run down, mainly the bathrooms, the cleanliness is well above average, this hotel is excellent value. Staff are friendly and polite. The location is ideal.

The hotel was in a great location. Lots of shopping and restaurants very nearby. Buffet breakfast was very good, lots of choices.

Good location for the Night Market and...
Good location for the Night Market and not too far for walking into the walled city. Great to have a swimming pool after a hard day's adventure. Staff very helpful, including tour operator representative.

The hotel is located right at the...
The hotel is located right at the night plaza. Great breakfast selection buffet but you must go before 9am or else nothing left. Don't use the tour company at the hotel, expensive...just down the street is a tour company called "Chang Thai Tour" very friendly and prices are reasonable, ask for Mr. Noi. The rooms are average, clean, excellent location though. Staff was friendly. Great bargain hotel. Would definitely stay again.
