The hotel grounds are very well maintained...
The hotel grounds are very well maintained with lush greenery and trees providing quiet privacy. Generous sized villas with king sized beds, large bathrooms and full size living room and kitchenette. Basic amenities provided. However, you would probably need to eat lunch and dinner outside as hotel cafe only serves breakfast of eggs and ham/sausage with toast 7 - 10am daily. Located a 5 minute walk off the main highway, there is not much to browse nearby except for small supermarket and hair salon and the Kad Farang shopping plaza which is less than half occupied. Best to stock up some food stuff for your room. A little disappointing as the hotel name was Resort & Spa but facilities were limited and spa services were not really in house as had to be called into the hotel. A nice spot to relax if you're craving quiet read by the pool or verandah.

We spent 10 days at the Taraburi...
We spent 10 days at the Taraburi Resort in February 09 in a poolside suite. The accommodation was very spacious and clean and everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was well provisioned with toiletries and towels and the outside shower was an experience not to be missed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The promised wifi was not available but the staff did ensure that wired internet access was made available in the suite when requested. The out of town location was just what we wanted as we hired a car but may not be ideal for those without their own transport. The only downside was breakfast, which was the same every day - eggs fried or scrambled with ham, fruit, toast and jam, with fruit juice and tea/coffee. More variety would have been appreciated.

The staff at Taraburi were very accomodating,...
The staff at Taraburi were very accomodating, always ready to help. One night when we were wanting dinner, one of the staff volunteered to drop us in her own car. The outside shower (there is also one inside) once super! Rooms are very big, we had 2 poolside suites for 4 adults. The resort is not very close to town so for us that was a disadvantage. The breakfast was served in our rooms but there is not a choice on what to eat, so you get 2 eggs, some sausage and white toast, juice, coffee and milk. That was not a great thing after a few days. There is not a restaurant so you can only have breakfast here, plan other meals accordingly. We had the place to ourselves so it was very quiet.
