Great hotel and good location
Fantastic hotel and location, staff were excellent. We will be staying there again. One small negative is that the washing we sent off didn't come back clean but I think it was done off site

Our Deluxe rooms were ok,but a bit noisy.I recommend for a little more money to book one of the 9 nice suites.
All the people working in that hotel are super friendly.
The breakfast was ok, a bit more variety would be welcome.
All in all we had an enjoyable stay there.

Wow, what a gem of a find!
Wow, what a gem of a find!. I have to admit on approach to Shere Wana I was a bit nervous as it fronted on to a busy road, however once inside it certainlt changed all that. The resort is very leafy, very green, very tranquil, traffic noise is zero and you could be a million miles away from the city. It's one of the very few places in Thailand where I've slept sounlessly without ear plugs!
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights recently and enjoyed it so much we rebooked and came back for another 4 (only upgraded to a fantastic suite room). The resort name means something to the effect of "Forest in the City" and it really is what it says. Relaxation exudes everywhere from the greenery to the running water features to the quietness of the place.
Room was large and furnished in Thai traditional furntiture.
Large well appointed bathroom with an abundance of piping hot water. Staff are ultra friendly and speak good English, lots of smiles all round. 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride into the city.
Breakfast is good, buffet style with certain items cooked fresh to order. Has an excellent coffee shop (and Barista) as part of the resort knocking out great coffee from locally grown beans.
Would we stay here again? Already planning to do so later in the year.

a wonderful city break
We had 5 wonderful nights here. The staff were very helpful and bent over backwards in booking taxis, getting breakfast ready early on the day of our departure. The rooms are beautifully done and it really does live upto its name of "forest in the city". The location is great as its a 10 min tuk tuk ride away so its much more peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here

Shewe Wana was a gorgeous value for money hotel.
Beautiful gardens and pool area. When we booked we fluked the position, only a 10 min walk to some great restaurants and not much further over the bridge to the night markets. Reception staff's English is good. Do yourself a favor and request a chicken and cheese toasted sandwich...it's not on the menu but they are happy to oblige...it is not what you would expect but it is delicious! Thanks Shewe Wana for your comfortable stay & a special thanks the kitchen staff.
