Great Hotel
We spent four nights at the Le Meridian during our stay in Chiang Mai. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Walk out the front door and you have everything at your fingertips. Great bars, eating and night bazaar right on your doorstep. Breakfast was always well stocked regardless of the time. The pool was very cold and not enjoyable although the pool setting is great maybe they could look at something to make the pool more enticing!!
We did not eat at the hotel nor drink at the bar so cannot give review for those. The staff were very helpful with any enquiries and room staff only too happy to please. In summing up this is a great hotel in many ways and would not hesitate to stay there again. Certainly a four and worth paying a little extra for all the conveniences.

Great location near the Night Market and easy to get to all sites in town on foot. Staff at the hotel very friendly and housekeeping extremely good. Good value for money.

The location of the mall could not be better if you are interested in going into the night market. But, the experience of the hotel itself was not up to the mark. The staff were attentive but passive at the best of times. the room did not come with the internet which is very odd for a hotel that claims to be five stars. the laundry prices were ridicilious, especially when a laundry shop next to the hotel was charging 20 bath per kilo. the selection of movies on demand and the selection of tv channels were so disatisfying that it was better to keep the tv off. I would give it 6 out of 10.

I was unexpectedly taken to the hospital...
I was unexpectedly taken to the hospital during my stay and was visited by the assistant manager at Le Meridien Chiang Mai. She was kind enough to offer her assistance,bring me my phone charger and pack my luggage for me during check-out time. I was visited again when she brought me all my paperwork and receipts.When I returned to the hotel to retrieve my luggage all the staff were very welcoming and friendly as well as assisting me in any way they could. I also would like to say how much I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety of food and beverages for all preferences. My only issue was the cost of in-room internet service. 500 baht for 24 hours.
