I must have misread somewhere and thought...
I must have misread somewhere and thought the hotel has a private beach. So I was fairly disappointed to find that there is no beach as the tide was high during the day. It is also very much isolated, and it would mean getting around can be a nuisance. nearest beach is 15mins drive. The hotel, itself, however is fairly nice, with well-kept landscape. Hotel staff is very helpful and courteous. All rooms have sea-view. Hotel room has a rustic design, and well-equipped and comfortable. However, we had to move rooms a few times, as the bathrooms have the same defects.

Beautiful location & good service! I...
Beautiful location & good service! I stayed here 2 nights 3 days. Staff is very kind & friendly. It is thanksful for the welcoming fruit-basket, decoration cake. However, entrance door(old) & Bathroom(leak) facility should be repaired quickly.

The place is perfect for families with...
The place is perfect for families with small children due to the three nice swimmingpools. It is also very nice for peoples wanting peace and quiet. All is very well kept around the swimmingpool and the chairs are nice.The breakfast was nice and so the lunch but the dinner was not so good and was too expensive. If you want to keep the guests at the hotel you should make the dinner better and cheaper and stick to good thai food. The staff should be better speaking English. They are very kind and smiling all the time but do not understand very much, so please improve their English!! - they also have to learn more about serving drinks and not just bring in the prepared gin-tonic leaving the bottles in the kitchen!!! In the brochure is says that the hotel is only a few minuttes from Hua Hin! - that is not the fact. They would charge you 600 Bht both ways for shuttle bus - too expensive. But all together I liked staying at the hotel. In the mornings and evenings you could make nice walks on the beach, and you were almost alone! - beautiful.

Stayed with my wife in Pattawia Resort...
Stayed with my wife in Pattawia Resort & Spa Hotel in August 2006. We really appreciated the complete relaxation we attained throughout our 5 nights stay there. The hotel atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. So was the surrounding. While the hotel Spa was still under construction facilities for massage, manicure, padicure, etc were available at the beachfront, three minutes walk from the hotel. Enjoyed swimming in the two large clean swimming pools, relaxed on benches on wooden floor around the pools with abundance of grenery around and cool air coming from the bay. Shuttle service from the hotel to Hua Hin town 30 km away was an added advantage to customers. Not to say the least, the hotel staff gave us all the time a feeling of welcome, were attentive and achieved in sustaining a friendly atmosphere. I wish we had stayed longer in Hua Hin, Pattawia in particular, had it not been for prior booking of hotel in Bangkok. Would certainly wish to stay again in this hotel. In the meantime may I provide my observation and suggestions in areas where I think further improvements can be made: (1)In order to build more confidence on hotel staff and enhance even better services to customers, communication skills (English Language) need to be improved, (2)Light switches in the room need to be more conveniently located and (3)keep a clock in the room. The hotel is good value for money. If you are aiming for a relaxing holiday and wish to attain complete peace of mind amidst friendly helpful people, I would recommend a hotel like Pattawia Resort & Spa.

A very quite and relaxing environment. Good...
A very quite and relaxing environment. Good for vacation. Seaview is available almost for all of the rooms. Good for couples to have privacy. But if planning to travel to Hau Hin and stay in Pattawia, pls allow travelling time about 30mins and the transportation fee would be 200-300B per trip.
