桂河大橋傳統渡假村 (Legacy River Kwai Resort), 北碧府  

The Hotel/Resort is situated at a beutiful spot directly beside the River. The gardens are very beautiful and they put much effort in it to keep it perfect. The houses could use a bit of an update - we had definately expected more for a 'Luxury Room'! When we stayed there, there were only 8 more guests with us somewhere in this huge Resort - we felt a bit out of the world. The service is good and the staff very friendly. The pool is nice but could be cleaner and needs a bit of repair around it - the floor around the pool is dangerous - you could step into protuding nails. The gym or 'fitness room' was absolutely unacceptable - very dirty and old machines - dangerous to use - in a room without air-condition. If you want to use the Jakuzzi you have to pay an extra charge of 200 THB - also for playing table tennis or football, which I think is not ok for a '5 star' (??) Hotel. The food in the restaurant and the choice at the breakfast buffet was very good, though. If you want to relax, it's ok - but there is not very much to do or see and the City is very far away (37 km).
