this is the second time i have stayed at this Hotel.....if you want 5 star accommodation and treatment then this is the place to stay.....I stayed in Junior Suite this time and I could not fault it.
This is surely a 5 star hotel at a good price

A very nice hotel and the service...
A very nice hotel and the service was wonderful. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this a top notch hotel. The room was large, spacious and very clean. The breakfurts was was diverse and food was good. The only negative for me was the coffee served at breakfurst was terrible. I 'm a coffee drinker and it was very disappointing for a such a grand place to serve awful coffee.

Definetly the best hotel in that area....
Definetly the best hotel in that area. We loved to stay there. Only the set up of the swimming pool could be a little bit nicer for such a hotel. However everything else is more or less perfect. We are are looking forward to stay there again !!

Great hotel, really surprising to stay in...
Great hotel, really surprising to stay in such a nice hotel in a quite small city. This hotel is 5 star quality. Only complaint I have was some slight noise from the disco could be heard in my room but ended before sleeping. Compared to most hotels this is relatively quite still. Best hotel in the area for sure.

Perfect in every respect! Great hotel shuttle boat to Bangkok from Thon Buri. Well situated and easy to find. Gracious staff, eager to please in every way. Food Excellent especially in PRIME their 5 star restaurant. Excellent!!!!

I spent three days here, enjoyed the...
I spent three days here, enjoyed the service they offered. Food very good, with plenty to choose from. I have stopped in plenty of four and five ster hotels, all over the world and this hotel is as good. Excellent standard, keep up the good work.

It was my third stay in SOFITEL...
It was my third stay in SOFITEL in KHON KAEN. I booked 2 DELUXE ROOMS as usual for 3 nights. As it was in june weather was hot and when I left the room I had to put out the electronic key. electricty in room is " off " as usual and air conditionning is no more in service. So when coming back in evening it was more than 30 °C (Celsius) in the room and I hardly obtained 25 °C (Celsius) during the night. I understand energy saving (electronic key) but it could be usefull to improve this pitifull system to avoid customer from boiling ... SOFITEL should also put ice in ice bucket in rooms in end of afternoon. Ice bucket was always empty. I appreciate during my former trip the quality of Vietnamese restaurant but this time it was a little bit deceiving. Morning breakfast was average. On evening while ordering a PINA COLADA I got lot of Ice in the glass but a very (very) few PINA COLADA cocktail ! While checking out SOFITEL wanted to charge me 3 nights despite the fact I got a Voucher (alreasdy paid one month before) for the 3 nights. Of course I gave SOFITEL front desk the voucher while checking in. It took more than 15 minutes to SOFITEL to correct their mistake which is unpleasant when you have to go to airport to fly back BANGKOK. SOFITEL is a fine place but NEEDS improvements (air conditionning, checking out, and cocktails !).
