The start of our stay at Dusit...
The start of our stay at Dusit was not what one would expect from a resort by this name.
Likely still caused by the fact that the resort is still not up and fully running, we came accross the following hurdles during our stay.
The location of the reception desk is a hotel unworthy in our opinion.
The usual easy to find desk is kind of hidden to the right side in the lobby and does not show as a reception desk.
Only one staff available (after a while).
Luggage is not picked up from the front immediatly upon arrival (from the car) which is a bity confusing as to what to do with the car in case of the arrival of more guests.
The room was with double bed, as the original ordered room with king size bed was not available we were advised.
Soon after our settling in the room our airconditioning broke down and could not be fixed soon.
We were advised that the room next to ours was available and that we could move to that room instead.
To our surprice this room came with kingsize bed, which earlier we were advised was not available.
From this new room the jacuzzi broke down, and due to the fact that staff is still unfamiliar with the equipement it took a while before it was fixed.
The spa and fitness was not available yet which put some what of a damper on our stay, being spa and fitness minded.
Overall not a resort where we would return soon.
