Pretty nice place and nice location to boot. However our trip was soured by staff members becoming particularly rude to members of my travel group.
This is unfortunate as it caused us to want to leave the hotel before the end of our scheduled stay.
I would say choose this hotel if you want a nice relaxing break away on a nice island, maybe think about another hotel if you're just doing full moon party or wanting to party. This hotel's location is far out but they do have a minibus service which is helpful but in my personal opinion expensive. I live in Thailand & a song thaew (minibus) in the north costs 8 baht a person whereas on Koh Phagnan it costs 100-200 baht a person. Petrol prices are the same throughout thailand so again in my opinion its a bit of a rip off

Peaceful secluded resort
Definately not a resort for those looking for a a lively resort. This resort is tucked away in a secluded valley amidst huge trees and right on the seafront with private beach in the north west fo the island. If your after a peaceful and tranquil break, then this is definately the place for you. The Accomodation varies greatly, from traditional beach huts, complete with hammock on the balcony, to more impressive villas that can accomodate a varied number of guests. The staff are very friendly and will help you in any way that they can. A delighful place that will truly open your eyes to the beautiful surroundings and make you fall in love with everything that this island has to offer.

We stayed in a budget room and had a good value for the price. The staff was very friendly, and they had much better rooms available, so take that into consideration with my review.
Access to Haad Tian was very difficult with a nasty hill that should only be attempted in an AWD vehicle or by biking experts.
Perfect if you're going to stay in one place for a few days and not swim (the other beaches are nicer for swimming) or don't mind a bit of a trek in the heat through the bushes to the next beach.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
