Too far and thus uncomfortable
The Hotel is quite isolated, distance to the town is an issue (30'), as well as the walk up-hill to the room. Stuff is not very professional and show bad mood if they are not happy with the client request.
Some of the rooms are nice and other just ok. Just a few have view to the bay.
All travel agencies, except for the one in the Hotel (that is far too expensive) and restaurant are far from the Hotel.
I don't think is worth the price, specially in Thailand, where there are lots of options.

Hilly!!
The hotels about 10-15 min walk from the busy bit & dock in phi phi so good if you dont want to be in the middle of the hecticness. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean but be warned they're up a v steep, long path. The staff were pretty grumpy. The breakfast was good- a big buffet!

The sea view was excellent, looked straight over the Tonsai bay at Phi Phi Ley. Air conditioning worked well, room cleaned daily and new towels every day. There is a safe box to use. The beach is awful outside the hotel, the water isn't clear at all and it smells funny with bits floating in it.....not like you'd expect to see on Phi Phi. However, if you get a long boat to Long Beach which is 100 baht each and about 5-10 mins away, so costs will add up if you do this every day.
There is a man next to reception who tries to hard-sell you excursions.He is over double the price of those in town for what he offers. We booked our whole day trip (in town) on a speed boat (including all drinks, snacks, a good lunch, lots of snorkelling and various beach stop offs etc) for less than his quote for just a half day on a slow boring long boat for a bit of snorkelling! The staff we found unhelpful, an example was that to get the hotel transfer boat back to Tonsai in order to catch the ferry we'd booked to Phuket we were told to come to reception at 1pm but the transfer boat tried to leave before 1230, thankfully we saw what was happening from the beach and ran to reception...to find that the staff had just left our bags (alone) in the reception area and when I tried asking whether there was another transfer boat at 1 she just shrugged. We weren't the only ones it happened to either, everytime the boat tried to leave some one else came running down the beach!
Bit of a walk to the main "party" centre as its the other side of the harbour, but there are some nice restaurants along the beach.
So its ok to stay here for a few days but we wouldnt stay again.

The hotel is located in a nice area with beautiful vegetation and close to the beach. There is a nice walk to the town.
Bungalows were big with a nice terrace.
The main complain about the hotel are:
1. The bathroom is a little old. they should spend a little money on rehabilitate the bathroom.
2. The Air conditioning didn't work very well.
3. The people at the hotel is not the most polite in thailand

The location of this hotel on the island is good as it is within easy walking distance of the village. However, although the reception of the hotel is situated on the beach, the bungalows are all situated on a hillside and many are 5-10 minutes walk up very steep hills. It is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful especially when we explained that my husband found the walk up the hills too much, they took him up and down in the the car used to take peoples luggage. Dining on the beach at night at night was a real treat and the food excellent.

We stayed at this resort for 4/5 days and were very happy of its location. It is within 15 minutes walk from the village, so you can enjoy either the calm of the resort or go out in the "center" if you prefer. The resort is really nice, with a lot of exotic vegetation, place for massages and swimming pool. The bungalow itself was absolutely amazing, very big room with nice bathroom and big terace with partial see view, everything cleaned every day! Despite the high season, the resort was quite empty and quiet. The only disadvantage is the beach - the hotel has its own beach, but with many algues, so we had to go a bit further every day to stay on beaches of other resorts - fortunately there was one very nice small beach nearby. Also the staff at the reception could have been a bit nicer in providing sevices.

This was my second time here. The location is good as it is far enough from Tonsai but still within walking distance and relatively close to Long Beach. My one major disappointment was that we could only see a bit of the bay from our "seaview" room. Please note that the bungalows are up on a hill which can be very taxing for those with limited physical mobility. Also, beware of the bossy Mamma-san at the front desk :) Overall a good experience.

The location on the same beach as...
The location on the same beach as the main pier suited my holiday perfectly. It is a 10-15 min walk to the town, it's pretty quiet and peaceful. The only problem is that you can hear the music from the bars and clubs along the beach.
I personally didn't have a problem with the resort being very "hilly" but for seniors and families with children in prams it can be a bit of an issue.
The service was very friendly and the restaurant served pretty good food. The restaurant is located on the beach which I enjoyed. The pool-area is ok, unfortunately there was a bit of renovating going on which disturbed the peace slightly. The only thing I missed at the resort was some sort of kiosk-type place where you can buy cold drinks, ice-cream etc.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would definately stay there again!

The bungalows are of nice quality... spacious rooms, lots of light, nice views (we had ocean view), adequate bathroom, and large balcony.
The room is equipped with safe and TV + DVD. The DVD saved us from those rainy days getting boring.
The restaurant is very decent. Breakfast likewise.
Two drawbacks:
- In the evening our shower did not have warm water.
- For a longer stay the walk to the town (15 minutes) gets a little tiring.
