Nice, but not worth the money I payed.
I've stayed on Phi Phi island many times, and am always on a fairly low budget. I'm not picky and I think this place wasn't that bad. Beautiful view from the upper floor balconies, nice place to spend time when it rains.The furniture was cool and funky. The bed was like a rock, (like most here in Thailand), but clean. Walls are paper thin. So be kind to your neighbor and keep the noise down. I felt sorry for the people on the first floor, was probably very noisy. The location was great, out of the way of all the nose of town, and the beach. Not far from anything at all. The sewage treatment garden is a non-issue. You might catch a half-second whiff walking by it, and the hotel is around 100 yards or more past it any way. Most of the time all you see is a nice garden and people tending to it now and then.
Over all it was a decent place to stay. I booked online this time, (usually just book when on the island), and payed more than this place was worth. Not a bad place, just plenty of other places that are much cleaner and have a bit thicker walls, for less money.

From the pier, you have to walk 20 mns, but the location avoids suffering the noise from the Tonsai Village.
The floor is very noisy. The room is badly sound-proof.

I stay one week in the resort....
I stay one week in the resort. in this time the room has be cleaned one time. the shower in the bath leak permanently, and for the wash bowl coming no water.
if your room in not near to the desk wifi don't work.
the staf was lovely but overall for the budget you can found better on koh phi phi.

Overall I think this hotel was overpriced based on its location and what you get. The aircon was faulty, the TV only had Thai chanels and the remote location was not close to the beach as advertised. We checked out early and moved to a much nicer hotel on the beach which I recommend for anyone visiting Phi Phi.

Our stay at Phuttachot was as expected...
Our stay at Phuttachot was as expected with regard to the price. The room was simple but not distasteful and everything was clean. Don't expect any facilities like breakfast room, pool or opportunity to pay with credit card. Service is not pro-active but staff is friendly. The beach and Tonsai village are just a short walk from Phuttachot, but resort is aside enough to have some sillence from the noisy crowd.
