i like this hotel very much..its so...
i like this hotel very much..its so quite..a bit away from the main town..and it has a little beach just right next to the room..its such a amazing thing that sleeping next to the sea...strongly suggest to the couples and ppls who like to be away from many ppls..one little problem is that the hotel is a bit far from the main town...but really not a bit deal cos u can get a bike or atv easily on the island...

Decoration is simple and hip, room is...
Decoration is simple and hip, room is clean and tidy. Staffs are friendly. The restaurant was a bit disappointing though. One evening me and my partner wanted to have a better dinner and we thought the hotel restaurant would be nicer than those in town but end up the food was below standard. Moreover the hotel bit far from the Town. I will recommend to those who ride bikes and ATVs, otherwise it will a bit inconvenience to get a tuk tuk from time to time. Good for honeymoon couples and people who don't like to go out often.

We had a good time at the...
We had a good time at the hotel. The kids really enjoyed the ready access to the beach where we could watch them from the patio. They also enjoyed the pool though it wasn't very toddler friendly. The bay is very protected so the sea was calm for the small ones. Not the most beautiful of beaches but it suited our needs. The free ferry ride was very convenient especially as they take care of the luggage right to your room once you reach the offices and you don't need to arrange subsequent island transport. Complaints - there are not enough deck chairs around the pool, and the drains worked very poorly in the shower. The restaurant was expensive. And most unfortunately my husband came away with a serious case of bedbug bites! But despite these complaints, I would still recommend it as a mid range hotel for families a little away from the main action.

Overall a 3 star hotel. The beach...
Overall a 3 star hotel. The beach was non excisting during flood hours and the location of the hotel was more far from restaurants and shopping than described. If you like a calm stay go here!

I've stayed in Samed Club last Week...
I've stayed in Samed Club last Week for 3days & 2nights, it's really wonderful. The room is comfort & clean, so relax when you lay on the bed after any sun activites. Even the beach seems small, but it's private, and slient. Also, the service of the staffs here is very good, they are nice and smile always! You can take taxi to Hai Sai Haew Beach for just around 5-10 mins to have beach dinner at night, the taxi is 24hrs. Samed Club is really a Good place to rest in Koh Samet!

The hotel turned out to be a...
The hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Unlike other reviews, we found the location quite comfortabe, away from the crowds. It is very easy to travel to and from the resort by taxi or by renting a motorbike/ATV. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The pool was very inviting and although rather small, the kids loved swimming and playing in it. Breakfast was good and the view from our deluxe hill room, was incredibly beautiful. The only problems relate to: 1. The bathroom - very poorly lighted and the shower is open. Also,we had problems with the water flow - very very weak. 2. The room was full of ants and other "creatures". Housekeeping tried to cope with the problem but with limited success. Overall, the hotel is a very good value and it should be noted that the Samed company takes care of you and your luggage from the minute you arrive at their office at the pier in Rayong up to the last minute of your vacation - when you return to the office. We found Kohsamet a true hidden gem, the beaches are marvelous and we think that for families, it is much better than Pucket or Kohsamui, after visiting all of them.

We have stay 2 night at Samed...
We have stay 2 night at Samed Club Resort. The hotel is so great and the staff also so nice. Even the breakfast is so simple, only servel kind of bread and fruits and drink. But they also can provide extra food if you required. Such as we ordered fired eggs, pencake. The beach so beautiful and silence. Only one thing that we stay 2 nights in beach front cottage, while we woke up in the morning, we found that many insect bite on our legs. If seem that they hiding in the blanket

Very nice place for couples. Quiet and...
Very nice place for couples. Quiet and peaceful. Serivces is execellent. We were greeted at their office at Ban Phe pier and everythings were taken care of by their staffs till we checked out 4 days later. We stayed in a deluxe cottage which is very nice & clean. The size of the pool is also just nice - not too big & not too small. The ONLY setback is the beach. You will not be able to listen to the sound of rushing waves & i think there are sandflies at night. However, this is not an issue as we can rent the scooter or atv easily anywhere around the hotel. The hotel provide two beach towels where we can bring along when we go for beach-hopping. Overall we like the hotel alot and will definitely go back there next year.
