Did not get what I paid for,but good budget hotel.
I booked a Deluxe room as Asia rooms stated that they all had a balcony or terrace with a pool view!!! The room I was given looked straight onto a solid brick wall 6" from my balcony. I refused this room and showed the duty manager my confirmation from AR clearly stating pool view. She did not care and said you paid for a Deluxe room and this is a Deluxe room. I still refused to stay and down graded myself to a superior room this had no balcony or view but at least I was not staring at a brick wall!,, she said I could get a pool view in 3 days but I was only there for 6 days in total so did not bother. I got a move on the second day to a family room which over looked the entry court yard. This room was very nice, but not what I paid for. The staff and location are fantastic and I would not let my initial experiences put me off returning. I am not sure how many rooms they have but the majority have no view and are just a clean bed for the night. If you have have a bit extra cash I would go to a Holiday inn.

- Overall experience at Horizon Patong was alrite. The only upset was about the extra 265 bahts collected during upon my check-in. Reason given by the hotel stuff was for my son's breakfast for the next day, but i do remember clearly that i had booked a family suite that comes with breakfast, and even after showing my confirmation letter to the hotel stuff, they still insist to collect the money from me, so in-order not to create a scene out of "265 bahts" at the hotel lobby, i've paid them eventually.

Great location!!
Enjoyed my stay here very much. The Horizon Beach Resort and Spa is centrally located, right across the road from Patong beach and it is possible to walk everywhere, I did! The staff here are very friendly and happy to help. My room was directly opposite the restaurant and I could hear the rattle of cutlery and crockery during the morning and evening which might be a problem for some people. Don't let this put you off staying here as are rooms at the other end of the resort that would be quieter. I had a look at the deluxe rooms at the opposite end of the resort and there was not any great differences between them and my superior room. I will definitley stay here again when I return to Patong.

We have stayed at Horzion Patong Beach Resort 4 times and would highly reccommend it. The Resort is in a great location on Patong Beach, has excellent pools, clean rooms and very friendly service. We will be staying here again.

Great welcome
Returned to Horizon after previously staying 3 yrs ago. Was warmly welcomed by the manager, given cold face towels and fruit drink, given a free bottle of wine and dinner voucher for restaurant as well as a room upgrade. Cannot complain of the customer service!
Clean , nice pool areas and reception, good buffet breakfast (although very crowded).
Whole complex is a little cramped (so the word "Resort" is a little inappropriate) and very hard to find for a taxi driver (down a small lane).
However in a great location - just across the the road from the beach and easy 10 min to JungCeylon shops.
Recommended.

Dear all,
This has to be the worst hotel that I've stayed in, The security constantly interrogated my partner who is Thai to the point where she wanted to leave. The rooms are ancient and stink the air conditioners are so loud they keep you awoke all night.
There are many better cheaper hotels in Patong I tried to check out but booking with Asia rooms means they charge you the total price to cancel your booking

we'd a great time staying at this hotel.Everything is convenience to us.Valued for the money.Only unhappy with the 3% charge for the reservation with credit card.Should have informed us beforehand though it's a small amount of money
