THIS WAS OUR 2ND TIME TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL, IT FELT WELCOMING WHEN WE ARRIVED, IT WAS NO PROBLEM GETTING OUR ROOM EARLY AS WE ARRIVED 9.30AM. PAID UPFRONT AND PRICE AS OUR QUOTE ON ASIAROOMS. NO HIDDEN EXTRAS. THEY WERE VERY ACCOMADATING WHEN I ASKED FOR MY DAUGHTER TO STAY FOR LAST 2 NIGHTS AT AN EXTRA COST OF,1000 BAHT PER NIGHT, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS REASONABLE, THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WITH THIS HOTEL IS NOISE AT NIGHT FROM BARS THATS CLOSEBY, WE ASKED TOBE MOVED AFTER FIRST NIGHT OF LISTENING TO BOOMING MUSIC ALL NIGHT, WHICH AGAIN WAS NO TROUBLE. THEY MOVED TO A higher level and better room at no extra charge.convenient location for shops,5 minutes walk to shopping centre,also nightlife,

Great location, this is our 3rd stay at the Royal Paradise, it's good honest accomodation at a reasonable price.

10 min walk to the beach. 5 min to Junceylon Mall. Massage parlours right at your doorstep.
I loved the thai foot massage outside the hotel. THB250 for an hour. Can't remember the name. It's right beside the fountain.
The staff were good. Though their english is just ok. If you want them to do some explaining - like why they charged my credit card when Asiarooms said I could pay by cash - then it's not easy to communicate. Moreover they did not have a double bedroom when I had already booked one.
The room with seaview is not great cause it's a partial view from the balcony on the side of the hotel.
Buffet breakfast was good but its the same everyday. Rest of the stay was pleasant.

We stayed at the royal wing, the section faces market and bars.
Every noisy at night, as music starts from 10:30pm. The room has no sound proof - we could hear every bit of sound fr outside - ppl walking / singing / talking etc.
All facilities are in the hotel are old. Hot water doesn't come out smoothly!

Half of the staff don't smile.
It almost ruined my holiday !

Good Location
We stayed in seaview Paradise wing Superior room on 17th floor, which is definetly better than Royal wing rooms. Nice breakfast and very good lunch at Arabian & Indian restaurant - Casablanca. Beach is a few minutes walk, which can be difficult in hot sun with small kids. Hotel is surrounded by massage parlours and gay clubs, had to be extra careful with kids, even tough we didnt feel threatened by any of these activities. Me and my wife had decent thai massage and we both loved it. Very relaxing after a hard day under the sun and sea.
But on a second review, would prefer to stay at Holiday Inn next time, as it is right on the beach and much suited for families with small kids.

Good value
We have a deluxe room on the 19th floor at the Paradise Wing. The room was nicely decorated and spacious with a wonderful sea view. Although it's very close to Bangla Road and other bars, we didn't hear much noise at all.
Good point - Nice hotel with a great seaview. Good quality and big selection for breakfast. Do not miss the happy hour on the 24th floor. Central location.
Bad point - too many gay bars around the hotel. Won't recommend for families. Couples ok.
