Great hotel to stay!!!!
I stayed at la flora for the first time with my partner and definitely stay again next time! The service was excellent! Staff were always so helpful, always trying to make you're stay as comfortable as possible! Very trust worthy and honest staff as nothing was stolen. Room service was so cheap and always delivered within 20min! I couldn't make one bad comment on this hotel it was just amazing and great value with the complimentary buffet breakfast every morning! Oh and that's not it you get a free complimentary mini bar with beer, juice, water provided! every time you drink one they replace it the next time they make up you're room. I love this hotel.!

La Flora, Patong
This is our 6th visit to Phuket and we decided to try La Flora due to the good reviews on the forum. We love the place! The location, service and quality were great!

We went on a trip for our anniversary. It was only a short stay of 4 nights, making the location handy for us. We were in easy reach of shopping and nightlife. Being right on the beach was a nice advantage, and the resort is amazingly quiet for it's location. You wouldn't know the main street was right at the front door. Great boutique size resort for couples for a quiet and intimate stay. I have to say the highlight was the rooftop bar and restaurant. Amazing veiw of the lights of Patong, and magical when the lanterns are being released from the beach (or the bar itself) The staff were all wonderful and unimposing. Free Wi Fi in the rooms was great for staying in touch, as was the free internet in the resort. The onsite spa, was an amazing indulgence and worth every penny. The only disappointment for me, would be that for a resort that is rated 5 Star, the rooms were not finished to a 5 Star standard. This is a newer resort, however it looks in the rooms to have been thrown together, and not finished at all well. I have stayed in nicer rooms in less expensive hotels. We may stay again in the future, but not with our family for a longer stay.

Initially we had a pool villa and...
Initially we had a pool villa and it was definitely not what we expected. We changed to the deluxe pool villa and that was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was very good and the two meals we had at the coffee shop were excellent. Their salads were so fresh and crisp. We received new fresh local fruits in our room every day. We had ample bottled water, both for drinking and for brushing teeth etc. The managers were extremely attentive and always willing to give helpful suggestions. They had a nice collection of DVDS in the Internet Library which came in handy on a windy, rainy day. The closeness to the beach was a huge plus - it was lovely just to walk out the side door from the villa right onto the beach. I would stay there again. Beth & John, Singapore

This is our second stay at La...
This is our second stay at La Flora, this time in a sea view suite. The view of the beach is gorgeous, peaceful and lively. We sat on our KS bed and watched the action through the full height glass windows for hours. We liked this suite better than the ocean front private pool villa, which virtually had no view, but privacy. It is costly but well worth it. Friendly staff and a nice western style breakfast.

As a matter of fact, we rather...
As a matter of fact, we rather prefer to keep this Oasis of warm and luxurious hospitality (in the midst of an always busy and crowded Patong) as a well kept secret ! ;-) For several years, we used to stay in a Dusit Club Room at the Dusit Thani Resort at Bang Tao Beach and we were originally skeptic about this new exclusive boutique Resort, considering its location versus the idyllic Bang Tao Beach. Our apprehensions revealed to be groundless ! We were utmost pleased with our gorgeous Seaview Suite enabling us to enjoy the sunset in a quiet & peaceful atmosphere, just a few honderd meters from the noisy streets of Patong : amazing ! Although this resort features a very comtemporary design(we liked the coffee cups), it still offers elegant and charming accomodations and facilities. Breakfast is well above and behind the expected quality of food and service. Guests are exceptionally well treated by each member of the personnel with 'smilling efficiency'. We would like to mention the 'always discrete and efficient presence' of the General Manager, Mr Sawai Sombat.As a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry,he really cares about his guests.Open to suggestions,never intruding,he listens carefully to his customers and seeks to prevent any dissatisfaction that may occur to them. Therefore, we were so pleased by this resort because of its high quality level, first class service but also due to the personal and hearty attitude of its staff and General Manager ! We stayed there for 4 nights at...
We stayed there for 4 nights at the end of Jan 2009. What I like is that we can have the soft drinks in the small refrigerator all we want for free and they are refilled daily. This is a nice gesture from the hotel. We paid about 250 singapore dollar per night. One negative, just so that I am balanced in my view, is that the corridor leading to all rooms are not air-conditioned. However, once in the room, we have a good view of the pool and since we are the second or third room from the end of the hotel that is near the beach, we have also a partial sea view. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. The hotel will definitely list of hotels to return to when we revisit Patong, Thailand.
