This hotel would be recommended for the travellers/visitors who want to keep costs to a minimum. The lobby area is poorly ventilated and very busy at most times - which puts strain on staff efficiency and effectiveness. A very small pool. Very small rooms, we barely had space to put our clothes - little by way of drawers and a tiny wardrobe area! Cramped lifestyle encourages you to get out - a decent spot, just a few minutes walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants around. Wouldn't recommend this place unless you were looking for a cheap break for just a couple of days - any longer than that and you're going to have no space for clothes - I dread to think how a family could cope!

Wonderful on the Cheap!
Ibis being a no frill hotel chain just absolutely delivers. Rooms are the basic you need, bathrooms is just right, some may find it small but for a 6ft guy like me, its perfectly fine. Nicely done.
Beds a bit hard and pillows are of average quality. Theres just one per person.
Balcony is an added nice touch to dry off clothes from the day's swim. Loved the pool area and the eating area, its nicely done and comfortable to lounge around. Staff tries there best to serve your needs. Checkin wasnt that long, I was promptly entertained. Quite decent staff who speaks english.
Its near the beach and yes theres an Eden Mini Mart that gives great convenience. Its about 20 minutes walk to Jungceylon Mall or Bangla Road(red light district).
I would defintely stay here again if we can get it cheap again. It was just 2800baht(90USD) a night for Dec24-31, very peak season but the price, you cant beat that.

This is our second time staying in...
This is our second time staying in Ibis Phuket. Definitely value for money accomodation. Staff are friendly. Room and toilet are small but clean. Will definitely return if i were to go phuket:)

Stayed at this hotel on the 10/5...
Stayed at this hotel on the 10/5 to 13/5. About 10mins/500m walk from the hotel to the Patong Beach. Room was quite small and the toilet is also small but overall is comfortable and clean. Had our lunch at their in house restaurant - Taste of Thailand, their food is bad. Changed of 'Menu of the Day' yet never inform the guest. The food was served cold and the service staffs there are'nt tactful enough. When talking to them, they will just continue to walk away without answering you. Their pool was quite comfortable. Other then experiancing bad service from the restaurant, I might be staying this hotel again in future.

I book for hotel 3n and i...
I book for hotel 3n and i stayed only one night the room is tooooooooooooooo small its not room is like air cabin & location is too far there is no washer in the bathroom & this thing is very noise me i never use this bathroom internet should sould soluld be free.

the room at ibis patong hotel seemed...
the room at ibis patong hotel seemed pretty new and is clean. location is not bad as there are shops & small cafe nearby, about 20mins walk to shopping ctr & Bangla Rd. 5mins walk to the beach. we hired a tuk tuk for a few hours at 400bath but i think it could be lower as hiring of an aircon taxi for the day is also about that price.

I was on a short trip there...
I was on a short trip there with my friends and it was my first time to Phuket. The hotel looked clean and new from the outside. It was even better when we stepped into the room. We were a little surprised to find a very new and clean room. The toilet was a little small, but no other complaints. The night shift staff at the counter was a little ignorant when we tried to order food. (no room service, but tourists can order food from the reception and bring food up to the hotel) The hotel is a little far from the actual "action" from patong (maybe 15 to 20 mins walk to the street with all the "happening" pubs and discos). Takes less than 5 mins walk to Patong beach though and is very convenient. I will definitely stay there again.
