Poor WIFI coverage inside my room in level 3, the main hotel building.
Need to repeatedly login & auto logout due to poor connection.
The room which I stay, is slightly more expensive than my friends, but I do not see any valid reason to justify this price difference other than the swimming pool is located above the main hotel building.
The other building, where my friends are staying, cheaper in rate, newer room, better WIFI coverage.
Breakfast variety not much, limited choice of food....
Location wise, I personally feel, is quite a long distance to Bangla street & Jungceylon.
Need to walk around 15 to 20 minutes from hotel, but along the way you can see shops, spas, restaurants etc.

Another stay at the Aspery
Great hotel and very well located. only five to 10 minutes away from Patong beach.
Only issue with the hotel is that they seem to struggle to maintain standards. Usually guest are offered a complimentary on arrival. on this trip, the lady at the reception didn't offer me a drink until I reminded her.
On a previous visit the jacuzzi wasn't working for three or so days I spent at the hotel.
Aspery needs to be on top of their game as there are hotel around the area which will give them a run for their money.
However saying this, I would stay here again.

Nice Hotel. Was great that we were upgraded to a junior suite eventhough had booked a deluxe room. However view is not so great with construction across the road and with trees and wires blocking, can't see the beach.
The room was big and clean but the toilet seems it needed some maintenance. Also the balcony really needed work to be done with rusty railings and fan.
Majority of the staff were nice except for a handful who were rude and maybe the management needs to train them on service excellence.

Pleasant Stay for 3 nights !
We love the hotel! the breakfast for 3 days there is quite nice, not the same everyday. Although the first night we experienced air-con problem, but after we complained they sent technician to fix the problem quickly, so efficient! We stay at first floor 118 but we didn't facing any noise problem,thumbs up! bedroom wifi service also good for us to surfing net while we are tired after a long day sight seeing. If you don't have any laptop or mobile for internet,don't worry about that,the lobby have 6 PCs ready to serve you! :) The location is good,just 5 minutes to the beach,about 10 minutes to the crowded street,convenient stores,restaurants,and so on. For shopping,is about 20 minutes to the busy bangla road and Jungceylon shopping mall,you won't feel it is far because along your walk have many shops selling t-shirt, bikini and beach wear, I am sure you will like it!

Generally the hotel is OK and I read the reviews before I proceeded to book the room. However, I was quite disappointed with the front desk service and attitude. When we were asking them for the direction to the Patong Beach, the front desk girl was not friendly enough and made me feel I was not on getting the direction. This kind of attitude definitely is going to spoil the image of the hotel. Good hotel with clean and spacious room. Hope they can improve their front desk service and their attitude.

Great hotel but are standards slipping?
This is my second stay at the Aspery hotel. Great hotel but I wonder if standards are slipping?
These include:
- A few broken sun umbrellas at the roof top pool.
- A jacuzzi that isn't fully functional.
- I wasn't offered a complimentary drinks which is normally provided immediately after check-in. Hotel manager said this was a human error, apologiesed and offered the drink on hearing my observation.
On the plus side:
- Rooms are clean and finished to a high standard. Deluxe room also has a bath which is useful if you have a baby).
- Over five Internet hot desk on the ground floor which are free of charge. Wireless also in rooms.
- Hotel is only about a five minutes walk to the beach.
- Check-in process is very efficient and quick!
Summary - The Aspery is a great hotel but must ensure that it maintains its faciities and customer service to a high stndard in order that it does not loose out to other value for money hotels in the local area (for example THE SEA).

Good deal during low season
The good: hotel is clean, rooms are modern with flat screen TVs, wifi that works most of the time and daily breakfast that isn't bad either.
The bad: windows facing hotel across the alley. There is not much of sound isolation from either the alley below, corridor outside your door or residents above.

Great hotel
This was one of the best hotels i have stayed in ever!
Customer service was fantastic. Unlike many other hotels that waste your time even after an advanced booking, the Aspery check-in service was a master class on how things should be done.
We were checked in within three minutes and only had to sign a couple of documents. Drinks were then provided and served out in the lobby area. Once we were ready to proceed, we were taken up to our rooms and the baggage followed.
The hotel has a roof top pool and Jacuzzi. Cool :-)
Breakfast was good but even better than that was that you get free access to the internet room on the ground floor with about six modern computers with high speed internet access. Free Wi-Fi is also provided for those with personal laptops who prefer to use the facility from the convenience of their hotel rooms. Great!!!
This is a great hotel and i will definitely stay here again!!

This hotel location is very good. To the beach is very near less than 5mins. If you are food lover you could walk less then 15 minutes you will find very posh restaurant with perfect scenery (e.g Baan Yim Pa). If I was to find a flaw of this hotel, I would think that the walking distance to Jungcelyon was abit far close to 15mins but you could shop along the way to Jungcelyon as there were many small stores on the street selling Phuket things. Overall this hotel is really good for beach goer.
