My partner and I just returned from...
My partner and I just returned from Vietnam and we would definitely stay at Pilgrimage again without a doubt! Our flight from Hanoi arrived at 7:30 a.m. and not only was our room already available, but they upgraded without asking to one of five luxury suites. It has outdoor natural shower, a tub large enough for the two of us, and a private plunge pool. They did not bat an eye when he and I requested a king-size bed either. We only had one day in Hue, and they easily set up a 1/2 day tour with private car of the tombs and citadel. The breakfast buffet was the best we had in Vietnam -- egg station, pancakes, fresh pastries, bacon, three types of sausages, many local fruits, cereals, meats and cheeses, five or six juices, and Asian choices -- fried rice, noodles, pho, etc. All staff greeted us with a friendly "hello" everytime they passed, and the security guards readily recommended local restaurants that we could walk to -- La Thong. Pilgrimage was the last day and evening of our week in Vietnam, and I am glad we saved the best for last!
