Great location
The Century is in a great location. Service desk was very friendly and upgraded us to a massive suite as the hotel was quiet and at no extra cost. Hotel had a great pool however no bar service. Overlooks the perfume river and is very big and roomy. Front desk however hooked us up with a driver to take us to Hoi An and was meant to speak good English. Always check this before you set out as he knew little English and the trip to Hoi An was frustrating as he couldn't assist us with tourists stops and explanations of where and what we were doing.

An average hotel, but staff are quite...
An average hotel, but staff are quite helpful. Breakfast needs to have more variaties. Good location. We requested for a room change because of renovation being done right outside our balcony, but got it changed so efficiently.

was rated 4 stars, i recommend they lose 2, very poor service very run down it would have been a grand hotel in its time, a few smiles from the staff instead of the rude comments would be great some people do understand vietanese, would not recommend to anyone

I had been wanting to stay here...
I had been wanting to stay here for several years and finally got the chance. It was as I expected and I enjoyed my stay. The rooms have been smartened up and were large,comfortable and very clean.The bathroom was very clean but dated however all in good working order.The water pressure in my room on the fourth floor was very weak and showers were very disappointing. Apart from the Lobby the piblic areas are very tired.I suppose that the floods didn't help but you do fell that certain areas have been neglected. I was looking foward to using the swimming pool which is a good size,deep and very well maintained.However it was very cool and constantly raining during my stay. Location is excellent and in the middle of where you want to be.I loved the view from my balcony over the river and I will stay here again on my next visit.

For the price paid, the rooms should...
For the price paid, the rooms should have been heated; it was no more than 16 degrees Celsius outside. I found a nicer hotel, with heating, elsewhere in Hue.

We stayed at this hotel in December...
We stayed at this hotel in December 2007. Like many others, it is in need of a fresh coat of paint to tidy it up. The deluxe riverside rooms were large with a good bathroom. Hotel staff at the desk just do what is required of them, no more. The location is great, with the river view. I feel a hotel with many restaurants in it like this,is a bit of a waste, as there are a wide variety of restaurants just outside the front door. Bit strange that in a hotel this size room service isn't available (to those of us too sick to venture out). Arrangements had to be made personally with the hotel restaurant, including payment, before it could be sent to the room. Buffet breakfast was good. If you have been to the water puppets in Hanoi, don't bother with the ones next door. Despite claims that the show is different, it is same same.

Great Location, Staff very friendly and helpful....
Great Location, Staff very friendly and helpful. They even made a special takeaway breakfast for us as we had to leave early. They were really looking after us. The Hotel may be alittle tired but very clean. A memorable stay and would thoughly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thankyou Century Riverside and Asiarooms.
